By training, I'm a Mechanical Engineer and graduated from Virginia Tech in 2000 with a focus on Robotics.  I finished my graduate course-work in 2001, but have yet to complete my thesis.

I've been a LEGO maniac since I was 8 (see my LEGO page).  I'm implementing the LEGO Mindstorm kits into my Masters thesis work in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Virginia Tech.  My favorite class at VT was Mechatronics.  Combining two things I love!

From May 2002-March 2005 I  was the youth leader for Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church (no relation to me).  That was a great stretching experience, and a great opportunity to serve and grow in faith.  What an adventure.
